Fatteh with cous cous

  • 1 CUP DAIRY FREE SUGAR FREE YOGHURT

  • 3 TABLESPOONS TAHINI

  • 1 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE

  • 1 GARLIC CLOVE

  • 1 TEASPOON GROUND CUMIN

  • 3 TABLESPOONS WATER

  • 1/2 CUP CHICKPEAS

  • 1 TABLESPOON PINENUTS

  • 1 TEASPOON SUMAC

  • BLEND THE YOGHURT, TAHINI, GARLIC, CUMIN AND WATER IN A HAND BLENDER OR BLENDER. THE CONSISTENCY SHOULD BE COMPLETELY SMOOTH

  • ADD SALT TO TASTE

  • ADD THE CHICKPEAS, MIX WELL, POUR INTO A SERVING BOWL

  • TOAST THE PINE NUTS IN A DRY PAN ON A MEDIUM HEAT

  • TOP THE FATTEH WITH THE PINE NUTS AND SUMAC

  • SERVE WITH A SIMPLE GREEN SALAD AND COUS COUS
