Choc protein pudding
Protein shakes can get sooooooo boring! So if you're protein-loading try this recipe instead. If you need to sweeten it use dates soaked in hot water for 10 minutes.
Makes 2 generous portions
2 cups almond milk
1 banana plus 1 banana
2 heaped tablespoons of soya or rice protein powder
1 tablespoon cacao powder
5 tablespoons chia seeds
A handful of blueberries
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
Blend the almond milk, 1 banana, protein powder and cacao
Mix the chia seeds into the almond milk mixture
Pour into 2 bowls.
Stir well to break up any clumps of the seeds.
Chill for at least 8 hours
Chop the remaining banana, put the banana and the berries on top of the pudding
Sprinkle on the flax seed
