Gluten free dough balls with garlic oil
These little dough balls are so easy to make....the flours can be found in most Indian food stores. Here is a photo of the packets, photo bombed by my new rescue kitten Buddy....
1c gari flour, aka manioc
1c hot dairy free milk, I used cashew milk made by Plenish
1/2c gram flour
1t xanthum powder
1T extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic, crushed
3T extra virgin olive oil
Heat your oven to 200c.
Put the gari flour into a large bowl.
Heat the milk in a pan, add to the flour and mix well.
Add the gram flour, xanthum powder, oil and salt.
Mix this all together, you may need to use your hands for this rather than a spoon.
Roll into 8 balls and put onto a baking sheet on a baking tray.
Bake for 15 minutes.
In a pestle and mortar crush the garlic with a little salt.
Add the oil and transfer to a dipping bowl on a plate.
Place the balls around the oil.
