High protein spicy soup (LAZY RECIPE!!!)

Bloomin' hell....this recipe is high in protein, contains NO oil, is really easy and quick to make, is a 1 pot dish (so reduces washing up) AND the protein is easily digestible. Everyone who has ever protein loaded to build muscle will know how that last point is oh so appealing........let's just say it eliminates the embarrassing effects of high protein foods.

Makes 3-4 servings, eat 1 and batch freeze the rest in individual portions

2 leeks, roughly chopped

1 can chickpeas, drained

1/2 cup yellow split peas

2-3 cloves of garlic

1 sprig rosemary

1 teaspoon ground cumin

2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon stock powder

Cayenne pepper to taste

Salt to taste

1.5 litres water

Put all of the ingredients in a large pan

Bring to the boil then reduce the heat to a simmer

Cook until the split peas are soft, this should take around 40 minutes

Blend with a hand blender, taste and adjust seasoning

That's it!!!
